Rock Leader Course

Are you ready for the sharp end? Jump start your lead climbing career with instruction that is focused on placing gear, learning to lead, basic self rescue skills, and overall proficiency and independence in the world of trad climbing.

While sport climbing continues to grow with increasing popularity, New Hampshire remains a stronghold of the traditional climbing ethic. Learning to become comfortable and secure on the gear-protected routes of the area is a process that requires a serious investment of time and energy. Spending some time with a guide is an invaluable way to jump start that learning process.

For those with little exposure to leading, a three day course would be recommended, while a supplemental day out could round out the skills of a mentored intermediate. Contact us to design a personalized program.
