  • Ice Climbing

The Northeast is home to the best ice climbing in the country, and New Hampshire has the widest variety of accessible terrain to be found anywhere in New England. From introductory ice flows to bucket-list worthy routes, North Conway provides access to it all.

When something is in your own backyard you tend to take it for granted, but New Hampshire ice climbing is easily some of the best in the country. Right here in the White Mountains we have an incredible variety of frozen terrain, at varying altitudes and aspects, always leaving something in good shape.  With convenient access to and from town, it’s no wonder that North Conway is such a hub for winter climbing.  At Cathedral Mountain Guides, we pride ourselves on our talented guides and their local knowledge of the conditions and the crags.  There is nowhere we can’t take you – from your first day to your best day.
