Elevate your game for mountain adventures by learning the most up-to-date practices and techniques for roped travel on a glacier, and partner crevasse rescue. This 2 day technical course will stream line rescue skills for those who need a refresher, will provide a good foundation for experienced climbers wanting to take their first steps into glaciated terrain and will serve as a good primer for those headed up to Alaska for the spring season.

What we’ll cover:

The two days will be spent with a combination of classroom time and field work discussing best tie-in practices, rope management, and an emphasis on understanding the construction of a snow anchors while holding your partner’s weight. We’ll also discuss building a hauling system and ascending a rope.

Come spend a couple of days dialing in your game and open up new terrain for your future.

The Beta:

  • Taught at a 2-4 participant to 1 guide ratio
  • $375/person – saves up to $50 over a privately scheduled course.
